Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Camilla Broccolo. I’m a Copywriter with a passion for storytelling and creating. I love working my creative muscles and coming up with innovative and compelling concepts and copy. I am detail oriented, organized, and always up for the next big challenge. I thrive when I am learning new skills and expanding my horizons. I love working in a team and seeing the product of our hard work.

I have experience writing and editing a variety of promotional material for consumers and healthcare providers. Some examples of pieces I’ve worked on are: TV spots, podcasts, blogs, social posts, websites, brochures, videos, banner ads, journal ads, emails, as well as various other print and digital materials.

I graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Communication, with a minor in Nutrition and Food Sciences. During my time at the University of Vermont, I took courses in social media, creative design, Italian studies, nutrition & food science, and journalism just to name a few. When I wasn’t in class, I was a part of various clubs and organizations on campus. I am extremely passionate about nutrition and the importance of living a healthy life. One of my core beliefs is that how you treat your body and what you put in it has an effect on most aspects of your life and overall health—including mental. My time with the department of Community Development and Applied Economics at the University of Vermont inspired me to be more passionate about providing socially conscious and responsible marketing practices, and creating social change.

Outside of my professional life, I spend my weekends outdoors and being active, camping, hiking, skiing, and traveling. My coworker/roommate is a calico cat named Chai; she loves to show her face and participate in any meeting she’s allowed to attend! I was born in Italy and have moved all over the globe growing up. I pride myself in bringing a big picture, open-minded and worldly view to any room, team, and conversation I am in.
